ROBIN HOOD


Robin of Locksley, an English nobleman who joined Richard the Lionheart in the Third Crusade, is imprisoned in Jerusalem along with his comrade Peter. Robin escapes, saving the life of a Moor named Azeem in the process. Peter dies while escaping and has Robin swear to protect his sister Marian. Robin returns to England with Azeem, who vows to accompany Robin until the debt of saving his life is repaid. 1. What were the crusades about? The Third Crusade (1189–1192), also known as the Kings' Crusade, was an attempt by European leaders to reconquer the Holy Land from Saladin. It was largely successful, yet fell short of its ultimate goal—the reconquest of Jerusalem.

1. What were the crusades about? The crusades were a series of Holy Wars by the Christian states of Europe against the Saracens. The term "Saracen" was the word used to describe a Moslem during the time of the Crusades. The Crusades started in 1095 when Pope Claremont preached the First Crusade at the council of claremont.

2. How about the same period in Spain and Catalonia?

3. Where's Robin Hood at the beginning of the film? In Jerusalem

4. Why is Azeem with Robin? Because Robin help him to scape, of be a prisoner of Jerusalem.

5. Where do Robin and Azeem go? They return back to England.

6. Who are the outlaws? Where do they live? The outlaws are a person, group, or thing excluded from the benefits and protection of the law.

7. What happened to Robin's father? The Sheriff of Nottingham kill her father for being the most powerful man in England.

8. Who's Lady Marian? Is a friend of Robin. They met when they were young. She love Robin but she never told him.

9. Why do Robin and Azeem join the outlaws? Because they discovered the bad plans of the Sheriff, and they decide to help the outlaws, and fight all together vs The Sheriff of Nottingham.

10. Why do they fight against the Sheriff of Nottingham? For the justice and cause the people we'll be free.
